UBC Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences Building Announcement
On Friday, September 4, 2009 over 300 friends, faculty, alumni, students and supporters
of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences gathered in the Life Sciences Building to share
an important event in the history of the Faculty - Premier Gordon Campbell's announcement
of the BC Government's support of $86.4 million toward the cost of a new $133.3 million
state-of-the-art learning and research facility for the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
This extraordinary public investment in our Faculty will transform pharmacy education in
British Columbia and help define the future of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences in our
province and beyond.
