The UBC Pharmacy Alumni Group Board of Directors prepares an annual budget; develops and implements a program of activities, communicates regularly with alumni by means of newsletters and other media, organizes an Annual General Meeting and such other meetings, reunions or special events as required and solicits funds and items when appropriate.
The Board meets at least twice a year, at the call of the President. In addition, there is an Annual General Meeting, normally held during the month of October. The time commitment is minimal, requiring not more than 4-5 hours/month.

• responsible for the overall operation of the UBC Pharmacy Alumni Group and for calling meetings of the Board • acts as Chair of all meetings of the Board and of all General Meetings • may represent the UBC Pharmacy Alumni Group in dealings with the Alumni Association of the University of British Columbia • is a signing officer for the organization (along with the Treasurer) • serves a one-year term and upon completion, automatically becomes the Past President |

• maintains records of correspondence • distributes notices for all meetings • makes all necessary arrangements for meetings • keeping minutes of the proceedings |

Communications Officer Vacant

• responsible for editing newsletters, as well as other communications media, and maintaining the UBC Pharmacy Alumni Group website |

• keeps records of the finances of the UBC Pharmacy Alumni Group • issues the Annual Financial Report and any other financial statements as may be required from time-to-time • is a signing officer for the organization (along with the President) |
