Entry-to-Practice PharmD Program

Selection Process

The Faculty will select for admission those students who not only demonstrate academic potential but also most aptly display a motivation to study pharmaceutical sciences and demonstrate that they possess the qualities and skills most necessary to become a caring and competent pharmacist. Offers of admission will be made approximately two weeks after all interviews are completed.

The Admissions Committee will select approximately 224 students based on overall admission index. In the selection of applicants, preference is given to well qualified residents of British Columbia who are Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada. The Admissions Committee may also give preference to well-qualified applicants from under-represented areas in the province. Please note that international applicants cannot be accommodated in the program, and should not apply.
