Document Information

All documents supporting your application must arrive in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences Graduate Office by the appropriate application deadline. Consult the Required Documents page on the Faculty of Graduate Studies website and follow the directions on document submission exactly. Failure to do so may result in additional postage costs and delays in reviewing your application.

Required documents for all applicants include:

  • Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended (2 official copies)
  • Reference letters from 3 referees who are familiar with your academic and research work. Please use the electronic reference form in your online application by providing the official university or company email addresses of your referees. Alternatively, you may use the reference letter form on the Faculty of Graduate Studies website. Paper letters must have original signatures in ink. Referees may include an additional letter detailing their comments.
  • A copy of your curriculum vitae
  • A statement of your research interests

Additional required documents for applicants whose degrees are from institutions outside of North America:

  • Note that your official transcripts must include each course you took towards your degree and the final grade obtained in that course. For some institutions this information is included on the marks sheet but not the transcripts. You must submit both documents (2 official copies).
  • If your official transcripts do not explicitly state the name of your degree and the date it was conferred, you must also submit your degree certificate (2 official copies).
  • English Language Exam: You may be required to submit an official TOEFL or IELTS exam score
