Eligibility:

The SSRP is open to students in good standing at a Canadian university in a related bachelor’s degree program, for example, pharmacy, basic sciences, applied sciences, health sciences, materials science, engineering, statistics, economics, medicine, nursing and more.

How to apply to the SSRP:

1. Consult the SSRP Project Descriptions to determine which projects you are most interested in.
2. Fill in the SSRP Application Form.
3. Fill in the SSRP Research Statement.
4. Email the following documents to baconway@mail.ubc.ca:
   • SSRP Application Form
   • SSRP Research Statement
   • Current curriculum vitae highlighting your education, awards/honours, skills and science-related experiences (no page limit).
5. If you are not a UBC student, mail 1 official copy of your current university transcripts (must be sealed by your institution) to:

NOTE: UBC students do not need to submit transcripts – we will download these directly from UBC.
