Get involved in research by registering in Directed Studies. Directed Studies is a course in which you will receive a grade (usually by writing a paper summarizing your research). To do this you must have a faculty member who agrees to take you on as a directed study student - you can contact any of the faculty members who have submitted applications to take a Summer Student Research Program student, or you can talk to other faculty members whose research interests you. If the faculty member agrees, you may do this during the summer months.
